Unresolved Issues (Day4Yesterday) is a riveting novel by Patrick L. Brooks that examines how life’s decisions and choices are not arbitrary but are the result of deep-seated emotional pain and trauma that often go unaddressed and untreated. We all have varying degrees of dysfunction. However, it’s how we choose to cope with our shortcomings that can alter our steps and contaminate our choices.
In this gripping novel, the author examines how many of our decisions are the reasons for our problems despite the fact that we exert more energy to place the blame elsewhere. How we choose to confront life’s daily stressors and challenges particularly in our personal and intimate relationships can set us adrift on a turbulent sea of raw emotions. Though it is easier to accentuate our positives and strengths, doing so at the expense of ignoring our inadequacies can cause us to make catastrophic choices that leave in their wake a host of Unresolved Issues.
In this edition, George maneuvers through life unassumingly wearing a mask of deception. His life quickly unravels in an instant and as it spirals out of control, he realizes the incident that took place the day before yesterday triggered a George that had been lying dormant all along. Unable to regulate the underpinning of who he truly is, it will take compromising actions as he battles with his own demons to regain life as he once knew it.

Robert Parchman –
This is better than the previous two, which is a good thing. Well written and if the first 3 books are any indication of your writing. I have to assume your next to books will be better. I’m disappointed to learn however that book number five is the finale to the series.
Susie Lenard –
Phenomenal, this book really had me totally engaged.
Marcia Kozlowski –
Stellar, and Unique. This book gave me chills. The character George reminds me of a co-worker and to see his alter ego makes me Leary. My coworker has all the same calming attributes until he’s upset about something.
Gorman Slavich –
Unbelievable Read, I love the ending.
Clay Barkley –
Surprise ending, good read. The Author is 3 for 3 so far. I recommend all three of the books I’ve read. Keep them coming.
David Carrol –
Awesome, need more. Better than the rest and I mean that as a compliment. Very well written finale.
Danielle Khandai –
This book is definitely made for tv
Brandon Norwood –
I love it when an author moves me through the story while giving nuggets of information along the way. Then bring it all together at the end. These was a lot of dialogue but the content of the dialogue was relevant to the storyline. Very good book.
Walter Braun –
Something is truly wrong with the character George, he is the epitome of bipolar. Very Good Book, I love the writing style.
Gebe Lloyd –
I’m blown away, I hope the character George is a fictional character because he is too smart to have such deranged thoughts. The world is not safe with these kinds of Georges.
Kevin Reynolds –
The concept of George’s life changing after the incident the day before yesterday was brilliant. Good read.
John Kyles –
The author is very creative, the story lines are relevant but I’m just a different reader. More documentaries and politics. The book was good I just enjoy a different kind of book. My wife loved it though.
Laramie Sanchez –
Love the character George, but his wife was too bogus. Worth the read and my time.
